Ka mk2 (2011) Cigarette Lighter

Featured Replies

Hello All,

In my wife's Ka mk2 cigarette lighter doesn't work. I have checked the fuse (F85, 15A) and it is ok. I have tried to disassemble the plastics inside to get to the lighter itself but I struggled to pull it off. I have unscrewed 2 bolts on the sides of the panel and the panel feels loose but I can't take it off as it looks like the lighter stuck, or maybe I have missed some other screws? Could you please help me and tell (pictures would be the best) me how to take it off and replace the lighter?

Thanks for help.

Use 2 screwdrivers and get them between the socket rim and the plastic sleeve around it then lever the socket forward.
