Central Locking Remote Key

Featured Replies

Hi,

New to this Forum (on behalf of my daughter), but a regular on the Lexus and Toyota UK Forums.

I have bought my daughter her first car, a 2004 Ford KA Collection 3 door manual.

It does have central locking which is operated by inserting the key in the door lock.

The two keys we have have the red transponder on the top of the key.

What I need to know is, can I get a key fob with buttons to operate the central locking without using the door locks ?

Thanks

a lot of cars have only central locking not remote central locking

your one has only central locking so

cant use remote locking

Thanks for that useful info.  I guess if I cannot add a Ford push button keyfob, I'll have to just add a after market push button central locking control unit like this one....http://www.keetec.sk/en/product/cz-100-line-120
