HI all, I am going to view a Streetka tomorrow. It looks very nice, with an MOT and no adversaries.

 

What in particular should I watch out for and ask about?

Hi Mitchy, 

Check for corrosion, good test-drive, listen the engine, misfire is quite common. Also check:
- heater can produce cold and hot air

- the aircon is working. Don't buy the "just need re-gasing " talk, if it isn't working, usually compressor gone

- listen the belt, it shouldn't make any noise

- rear window. If it is blurry, not good. Quite expensive to change

- check the level of the coolant in the car, also no excessive white mist from exhaust

- look for leaks, check the carpet it is wet or not, no mold

- check the heated seats are working properly

- check the power steering, it should be smooth and not crunchy - noise
