Hello

I have just bought a 2012 1.6 petrol CMax after 7 years with a trusty Mk1 Focus and I have a quick question about the internal lighting when the car is started.

I leave the stereo on, so it turns itself off when I turn off the ignition and open the door. When I get back in an turn on the ignition, the dash and AC lighting all comes on, but the stereo lights do not even if the radio itself and the screen both start. The bank of stereo lights seem to come on a little later or when I touch the radio. Is this normal? I have a short warranty with the car so I want to check if this need to be fixed.

Thanks for any advice you can offer.
