conman
Hi guys, I've ordered a set of rear hubs/drums and was wondering if I should get some nice caliper paint on them before I put them on. I'm going to more or less replace the whole back braking system, hubs, bearings, shoes, cylinders and front and rear hand brake cables. The Hand brake just about passed M.O.T last year so think I'll get them well sorted this time round but I was thinking is it better to wait until after M.O.T to paint them to let them see at the test centre that the hubs are new? Also can anyone recommed a good paint? Would the spray or tin from Halfords do the job? BTW, going to paint front calipers as well, seen a few blue MK1 Foci with blue painted calipers and they looked really well.
