i have searched this online and could not conclude to 100% accurate result yet.

 

my reverse lights stopped working.

this is Fiesta 2010 1.4L automatic (in Australia)

i am pretty sure it is not the bulbs nor the wiring. i am thinking of something like reverse gear switch but i am not quite sure as all what i found online is about older models (older than 2008).

- so i would like to know whether or not the fiesta 2010 has a reverse gear switch like older models or not? and

- if so, where is it and how can i locate it? do i need to take out the battery and what is underneath it? or just lift the car on stands and it will be there?

you can obviously see that i dont know how it looks like if it ever exists.

there was some talk online about the Gear transmission switch (which is for all gear levels not just for reverse). now i dont know if this replaces the reverse gear switch in newer models or not.

No switch like a manual, switched via the transmission control module. 

Check fuse 3 (7.5amp) in central junction box. That feeds the reverse light relay r12 in the engine junction box.
