Max RPM on 125ps Titanium 2013 Ecoboost

Featured Replies

Hi,

New to this forum so apologies if in wrong place. Have just bought a Fiesta 1.0 Titanium 2013 5 dr 125ps Ecoboost and am very pleased with it.

However, although it shows according to specification it should rev to 6000-6500, mine only goes to just over 4000 rpm, this is on master key so don't think its a My-Key problem, I have noticed a couple of times when accelerating hard, it suddenly seems to hit limiter, but confess not at time noticed the RPM, it just seems to hit this point lower speed than I would have thought.

Any ideas or is this normal?

Cheers

I have the exact same car and year and recently went into redline 6k rpm whilst burning off a Audi A3 😂

So no, I would say this is not normal
