Ford 6000CD player problems

Featured Replies

Hi

Got a 2004 c max 1800 petrol. 59000miles.

Recently had secondhand instrument cluster fitted. All was fine until driving home on Monday. Suddenly the radio turned itself off, but the clock stayed on. I tried to turn it back on again, but the on/off switch did nothing.

When I got home I pulled the radio fuse to check, but it was fine. Then strangely after replacing the fuse the radio was fine again. All was well again till Wednesday, when the same thing happened again.

Pulled and replaced fuse, radio back on. Now the radio has started turning itself on when the car is locked. Been out twice today and the radio is playing while the key is in my hand.

Has anybody else experienced this problem? Is there any solution's to rectify the annoying fault.

Regards

CP
