I'm new to this group, so I don't know if I'm in the right place?

I have a Ford Fusion + TDCI - 06 Plate.

I have an ongoing problem with it where, it seems to cut out and loose power. Loose power as in, I have nothing when I go to put the accelerator down, mostly when pulling away. Sometimes when I restart the engine it will go again, perfectly fine, other times it takes a few attempts to restart it. 

Has anyone had this before? Or know what could possibly be causing it?
