krs360
Hi, I've just bought a 2009 Focus, and it has a strange problem - the windscreen washers are the wrong way around! If I press the stalk, the front wipers go on but the rear windscreen squirts. And if I pull the stalk the opposite happens. Any ideas how to solve this? Thanks. ferretfloozy
sounds like somebody's mixed the hoses up on the washer motors ..

Like it was an afterthought, and that was the only free bit of space.
JW1982
There is only 1 washer fluid pump. This pump has 2 outlets. By reversing the direction of the pump motor the pump switches between the windscreen and the rear window.
Fociboi
I’ve got the same problem, before I pull everything out and have a go at swapping the tubes did this work for you? I’ve just had the car out the garage and the guy said he’d swapped them but no joy! The variable speed control for the wipers is upside down too 🙃
ColW
I had to replace the washer motor on my old 2005 focus and with the new motor although it was the right fit in the space on the bottle and connectors it sprayed to the wrong washers. I had to slightly reroute the pipes to get them to reach the opposite sides of the pump but all worked fine after that.
