EddyOS
Hey guys, I was wondering if anyone has used any of the Chinese Android headunits you can get for sub-£300? I currently have the optional Sony in-dash 6 CD headunit and 'premium' Speakers and it's OK for listening to the radio but I'm getting to the point where I'd like bluetooth capability for calls as well as streaming music. The AUX in is fine to a point, but owning an iPhone 7 means I can use the AUX or charge - not both (unless I use an adapter)! Been looking at Xtrons, Eonon, etc. and just wanting some feedback. The other option is to get a cheaper Pioneer unit, which would do the job if I'm being honest

If not, is this going to be an issue? Both the Xtrons and Pioneer manuals says not to fit without an ACC position on the ignition and I've never looked before!

It does have ACC As it takes two turns to start the engine, the head unit will be off when the key is removed it is as they require. The straight swap shape of the xtrons will save your 60 pounds not having to purchase a double DIN conversion kit. I've got a xtrons 10" screen in the back of my focus aswell as the xtrons tv tuner both fitted three years now and no issues, my head unit is pioneer but two JL Audio amps and Speakers.
