Adaptive headlights

Featured Replies

Hi.  I’ve just picked up a 2018 Edge St-line and noticed that the headlights aren’t the best. Regretting not speccing the adaptive headlights.

Does anyone know whether they can be retrofitted - genuine parts through a dealer?

thanks.

 Is probably the definitive guide.

@A1YAT I don’t think you can retro fit the original adaptive headlights, but as stated above there are options available to replace all the front bulbs with aftermarket LED alternatives.  I didn’t get the adaptive lights either but I don’t do much night driving.  I think the £1000+ price tag couldn’t be justified for me.  May be a no brainer for others though.  Each to their own.

I’m due to pick up my 2017 Edge sport this weekend and wish I could have picked one up with the adaptive LED headlights. I’ve had adaptive headlights on my 2014 Octavia vrs for the last 4 years and really like them.

Anyone know what do the adaptive headlights for the edge need in order to be fitted aftermarket? Is the wiring loom the same?

They cannot be retro fitted for any sensible price (of course anything can be done if you go far enough, you 'could' retrofit a 6ltr W12 engine if you spent enough).

As above there are aftermarket LED bulbs that help a lot.  But I have to say the Adaptive LED lights are the best lights I've ever had, and I am glad I waited 4 months for 1 to have them!
