Car noise

Featured Replies

My Edge does not seem that much quieter than my previous car (S-Max). Is there a way to check that the noise cancelling system is working?

I've not had mine a week yet, but its very quiet. My previous car was a Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV, a very quiet car. Once up to speed the Edge is exremely quiet, quieter than the PHEV. Its tyres that make the most noise once you're rolling. Mine seems really good, its on Pirelli Scorpion Verde tyres. It sounds like yours might need looking at.

Mines also spookily quiet

And mine took the mother and father in laws out the other day and they were very impressed on how quiet it was .

Like Neil's, my Edge is spookily quiet too. The thing that freaked me out was driving on the motorway, I can hear the cars overtaking me and not my own!
