Fiesta 1.0 Ecoboost losing boost control valve

Featured Replies

Hi to all,

I have a 2015 Fiesta 1.0 Ecoboost, it has done 127 000km with no problems, and then the curse hit me.

I have done a complete rebuild on the engine, which is still running smoothly, bought two second hand motors and out of three emerged one working as new motor.

I have driven it for another 1500km before I got this strange phenomenom.

The actuator on the Turbo does not move, so I tested firstly by removing the pipe from the boost control valve and connecting it directly to the vacuum pump, and the Actuator moves. Piping is not the problem, I tested if there is any voltage going into the Boost control valve, and I'm not getting anything?

My question, has anybody had this experience? what did you do to resolve this issue.

Thank you
