Kuga 2011. 2.0 TDCI 140PS, cruise control retrofit

Featured Replies

Hello all,

I bought a new steering wheel with cruise control buttons for my Kuga 2011.  2.0 TDCI 140PS.

I ran the GEM test and all the buttons are working.

After that I went to a local Ford dealer and they activated cruise control through IDS (programmable parameters ->  speed settings -> Yes)

But the cruise control didn't start to work.

Did they miss some steps or?

Can I do it myself through elmconfig or some other software (Forscan, focccus)? Because I read on some other forums that elmconfig works only with Kuga with 136PS, and not on mine with 140PS.

Thanks!
