I have a 2017 edge sport which on Ford ETIS states it is a 230BHP and not the 210 as advertised.

At around 6500 miles it went back in to dealers with nosey gear changes dealers supplied and fitted a new clutch under warranty.

Now with around 12300 miles it has gone in for the same issue and today I have been informed the clutch and gear box require replacing which will be done under warranty I hope.

    Sorry to hear that Tony, doesn't sound like you are having a good time with your car. Are you suggesting that because it appears to have an extra 20bhp that has caused gearbox failure?

    Because Etis says it has, as does mine. Not sure if it's true but the OP seems to think that it is.

    Theres another thread about this. It seems that lots of recent edges show as 230 on Etis. However, the V5 shows 154kw which is 210ps.

    According to dealers Ford have made what they say and full of 230 which could be 1000s.

    Defiantly a differant with the maps as the plug in tuning kit for the 210 won't work on the 230 correctly.

    Etis shows mine as 230PS, and mine is a 16 model (66plate) so it’s not only recent ones!
