12V Power outlets / points

Featured Replies

I have a 2008 Focus Estate. The car has three internal power points - in the dash board area ie old cigarette ashtray, one in the centre console and one in the rear of the estate car area. Recently the first two simply stopped working with not power at all. The rear one works fine.   I have no idea as to the problem although I suspect it is a fuse problem.  I have been told it could in one of the two fuse boxes, the one under the glove compartment and the other in the engine area next to the battery.  Help!   Am I right in assuming it is a fuse problem? If so the boot area point must be on a different fuse?  If it is a fuse? where is the 12v fuse in which fuse box?   Finally and just as importantly, could it be something else and what can I do?     Many many thanks.
