Headlight bulbs

Featured Replies

Just back from my first long trip, 800 miles. I really liked the way the car performed, I find it more than powerful enough for my needs, maybe its true that some of us have 230ps engines as shown on Etis. My Titanium came "off the shelf" with halogen lights. I love the auto main beam feature, but they are a bit dim. I know its been discussed, but whats the definitive answer to which are the best upgrade bulbs for halogen lights please?

I don't have an Edge but I used to used Osram Silverstar 30% brighter bulbs (now Silverstar 2.0 which are 60% brighter) in my ST24. These are brighter without going too silly. I tried the Nightbreaker bulbs but they didn't even last a year so the Silverstars are a good compromise of brighter bulb and life expectancy.

I've actually got a pair of Osram Silverstar 2.0 bulbs to go in my car when the Osram Cool Blue Intense go. My car has Xenon headlights but have additional Halogen bulbs that come on with Main Beam, the originals were a bit 'yellow' and these are 'whiter' to match the Xenons.
