2.0 tdci jumpy when moving off and revs surging when accelerating

Car is a 2012 s max which has developed a problem different to what i was attempting to fix.

Car had 2 leaking injectors - resulting in a real mess around injector head. i replaced seals and injectors - no more leaks which is great.

Had injectors re-programmed - car seems to idle fine - but splutters badly when moving off and then engine revs are surging a lot through the rev range.

Really struggling to diagnose.

Anyone experienced this problem before?

Thanks,

Ivan

How far have you driven, could be the ECU learning.

Yes it should have, where all 4 injectors changed or just the 2

I would double check the injectors were correctly programmed. One thing to bear in mind is that the PSA engines (DV6 & DW10) have their cylinders numbered in the opposite direction to true Ford engines.

Ford have cylinder number 1 at the timing belt end, PSA have number 1 at the flywheel end. If calibration codes have to be entered into the ECU, this will matter.
