Engine malfunction and complete loss of power

I've had my smax for 10 days on finance from a garage after day 3 I had an engine malfunction light come on followed swiftly by complete loss of power so it went back they said they changed the filters and maf sensor so I pick it up it drives home 18 miles fine then this morning at 6 am I take my husband to work and the same thing happens again also when they plugged in the computer he said it was a boost issue I don't know if they're fobbing me off trying to get me out of warranty or what but I'm not happy I've got myself in alot of debt for a family car that I can't take my family out in any ideas of what the issue could be so I've got something to tell the garage when I go back later today
