gFiesta
Hi all, I have replaced the timing belt of my ford fiesta following strictly instructions from the ford manual. I am now stuck to the fastening of the crankshaft pulley retaining bolt. The manual says to torque in 2 steps: 1 to 32 Nm and then further 180 degrees. My understanding for the second step is that the bolt must be rotated another half turn from the 32 Nm point. Half turn from that seems a bit too much and I am scared I am gonna brake the bolt. I wonder if any of you has a torque settings rather then an angle torque. Thanks all for the asnwers
iantt
the bolt is a one use stretch bolt so you be fine. just do the bolt up as specified.
