Featured Replies

Hi,

work this one out if you can?

Had mk 1 galaxy. used vagcom on laptop#1 with usb/serial lead off of ebay....blue one but unbranded. works fine.

sold galaxy. Bought Alhambra. Used laptop#1 and usb lead on it. Works fine.

Used same setup on Alhambra a week later. doesnt work - "interface not found"?

different version of vagcom - same result.

Used laptop#2 plus tried 2 different versions of vagcom...same message.

Bought new lead from ebay (similar looking). laptop 1 AND 2 both say "inteface not found"?? AARRGGHHH I dont get this! Huh? it does say "ross-tech interface not found" but I know the aftermarket one worked before???

update.....

have selected correct com port (1) = port staus ok. interface not found.

have disconnected battery, drained residual current to reset ecu. retried = same message.

have sworn at it and threatened a trade in against a trajet......no difference.....suprised me most!

HELP!
