Reversing Camera & Forscan

Featured Replies

Hi I have retro fitted a reversing camera to my Ford Kuga 65 Plate (UK). I did have details on how to enable this is the Sync2 system using for scan. From memory it was changing a few digits. Please can anyone help me and point me in the right direction to "Enable the Camera" using Forscan.

Thank you Simon

Hi simon I have been searching for weeks to find out if any body has codes . I have put my car into our local dealers to see if they can activate it with no joy . I have now come across you & wondered if you had any joy with forscan & programming

Taken from the ForScan forums:

Try the folowing,
1- Go to the APIM As-Built
2- Do a backup of your original APIM (just in case)
3- Change block 7D0-01-01 x*xx-xxxx-xxxx
*=3 With camera no PDC
*=9 No camera with PDC
*=B With camera and PDC

So you would change the * to either 3 or B depending if you have PDC.

I installed a boot latch camera on a 2015 Ford focus followed these procedures and all I'm getting is a black screen any idea what's wrong?
