Help- exhaust/decat for stage 2

Featured Replies

Does anybody know if I can keep my stock exhaust on the car but buy a decat for stage 2, or do I need an all new system and decat?

The catalyst will be fitted with flanges on both ends,

Meaning you unbolt and slide out,

Any exhaust repair shop can then manufacture a flanged straight pipe replacement which is even better than an aftermarket one because it won't say performance part on it anywhere,

Meaning the insurance can't say it's a performance part ☺ #WinWin

If I understand you correctly you have a fiesta 2016 which is most likely going to be the 1.0 turbo EcoBoost engine?

If so see the link below which is a picture of a Miltec downpipe to cat which is one piece

Having changed mine over to this part a while back I can say its not the sort of job you want to do each time you go for an MOT as you would fail on emissions if the cat wasn't fitted not only that should you ever have a roadside emissions check by VOSA you will end up in trouble.
