Streetka Engine Light

Featured Replies

Morning all.

For the past few days the Girlfriends StreetKA's engine malfunction light has came on, but a quick bit of throttle made it go off. I borrowed it to go to work this morning and now it's on constantly! It doesn't affect the running at all, or the idle. I'm thinking EGR valve. I'm having it 'plugged-in' tomorrow, but was wondering if these are a common problem and if not, what people could think the problem is!

Thanks! Dave.

we have this intermittent engine light now and again on the wifes streetka. been advised its a lambda sensor fault. she seems to notice it is on more frequently when the fuel tank is low. i need to get it checked on a diagnostic check. ours runs fine too..?

I've replied in the other thread: Engine MIL and on ours, it's the pre-cat lambda sensor. It's causing a slight burp and it's over-fuelling as a result. :)
