2.0 Tdci Oil Change

Featured Replies

Am thinking of doing an oil change on my 06 reg 2.0 Tdci lx 130. Have found some Gulf Tec Plus SAE 10w-40 High performance Semi Synthetic motor oil. Reccomeded for multi-valve, turbo-charged or super-charged petrol or diesel engines. Is this ok for my engine?

the owners manual says 5/30

but the haynes manual says multigrade 5/30 or 10/40 for both petrol and deisal engines!!!???

double check grade as i do think it should be 5/30 for ure engine

synthetic oil in my experience tends to need less top up between oil changes

5w30 semi synthetic ;)

5w30 semi synthetic ;)

thanks for clearing that up. my first oil change is due in about 5 months
