Headlight bulb keeps blowing

Hi dunno if anyone can help , or if this might be a common fault but I’ve blown two headlight (dipped) bulbs in a week both drivers side .  Despite what I read on other forums it was one of the most simple I’ve come across to change (1 screw and two clips )  but I’ve not got the finances for two bulbs a week . 

The car is a 2009 1.6  zetec .

Are you handling the bulb without touching the glass? Could be it but if not check all your wiring from your headlight could be something exposed causing it to blow
