Front Parking Sensors

Featured Replies

Hi Guys,

I’m new to the forum,  and have just brought a Ford Focus Titanium 2014. I’ve only owned it for afew days and the front parking sensors don’t seem to come on. They did when I brought it but they haven’t come back on since then and I can’t seem to find any way to turn them on in the settings and there is not buttons on the dash to turn them on or off.

Does anyone have any idea what could have happened or how to turn these back on.

Thanks in advance.

Laurence

Are they factory fit or aftermarket sensors?

They are factory fitted iantt

If they are factory fit. Both front and rear sensors switch on when reverse gear selected or parking aid switched on. You must have a switch if factory fit. Do you have active park assist? (6 sensors on front bumper)

To determine if you do indeed have factory front sensors is to compare the front and rear sensors. Should be identical size.

If not then you will have aftermarket front sensors.
