Got powersteering malfunction service req then pull over safely came up checked following.alternator gives out13.8amps battery fully charged and working ok started after having puncture repaired car seem to be jacked higher than normal day later nightmare loss of power steering hard to control when error cleared and turning corners feels as though trying to pull all way round rather than centralising as you turn anyone had same problem when driving normal ie straight feels like two flat tyres on front

I’d change the alternator for a start it should be putting out more like 14.2v

depending on model and set up, have you checked the pas bottle. the battery should be giving out 14.2/14.4v
