C max both reverse lights stopped working and esp light stayed on

Could anyone please let me know if I am covered for rodent damage as I found out that was the cause of the problems above as they had got into the wiring loom and knowles through the cables which is for the reverse light switch to the back and the ESP light so I didn't have any ABS or electronic stability control I have had the jobs fixed but I wondered if I was covered by the auto insurance or not
