Tunnel rats ELM Bluetooth help.

Featured Replies

Just bought a ELM 327 Bluetooth dongle from tunnel rats, and I have also bought the Android version of FORscan, but my phone which is a Huawei P20 pro cans find the device when I try to search for it in my connection settings. Have tried the switch on top in both positions.

Any advice guys, thanks Chris.

Its Wi-Fi not Bluetooth.

Disconnect any active WiFi connections before trying to pair to your phone

I know I should have edited my post, as soon as posted it I noticed it was WiFi on the picture.

So how does it work if there is no WiFi near, confused.com.

Please excuse my ignorance

( No laughing ok Jon)

It generates its own WiFi signal.

Plug the ELM327 WIFI into vehicle's OBD2 port. Turn ON ignition (don't need to start the car). On your phone go to "Settings" > "Wi-Fi". Connect to the Wi-Fi signal called something like: WIFI ELM327, WiFiOBD, OBDDevice, V-Link. If it wants a password try 12345678.

Did it come with any instructions?
