Please help my self leveling headlights are no longer leveling themselves

Problem started last weekend when i took my car to have steering rack replaced the mechanic disconnect the drivers headlight while it was switched on to top up the power steering fluid after that both light dropped to the floor

Anyway its been to ford main dealer today no faults came up and they adjusted the headlights manualy so they came back up but now they will not level when i reverse down my drive ramp they point in the air

Been in touch with Ford again they said there is nothing wrong with them

I ve owned this car for 4 years i know what the headlights used to be like they used to go up and down when driving
