Glass in seat belt receptor

Hi all, had a break in recently and glass has got into the passenger seat belt receptor, any clues as how to remove receptor or can it be split to clean???????

Surely the vacuum cleaner would pull any glass fragments out?  The belt latch will be bolted to the side of the seat base, usually need to remove the seat to get access to it but with the Edge being bigger than the average hatch there may be space.  They cant be split apart for cleaning though.

cheers m8, glass has dropped right down, belt clicks in with a bit of a push but seat belt alarm keeps going off...was thinking of splitting it...might be best way i think.

Remove seat it just 4 torx bolts and then unbolt from seat

It doesnt split if you cant get the glass out then it will be a replacement

Get the vacuum nozzle over it and shake/tap the buckle to see if you can get it out without removing the seat.  If not, remove the seat, remove the buckle and knock it on something upside down.  As said, they can't be split so that's not an option, the plastic is formed around them and heat sealed in the factory.
