Anyone Have 1.0 EcoBoost C-Max?

Featured Replies

I have a UK spec Grand C-Max 2018 I get average according to the Trip Computer of 29.2 MPG

Does anyone have a 1.0 EcoBoost engine and what MPG do you achieve?

Thanks

I had one while i waited for a replacement for my 1.5tdci, i got low 40's on my regular run to Perth A9 60 limit,  its quite a big car for a little engine, all depends on your journey and its very easy to use the performance of that engine at the detriment to mpg, its a very willing engine, having said that the average for my 1.5 tdci is 47.4 that an average over 15000 miles.

If its a new the engine and other components will bed in and your mpg should inprove.

Not directly answering your question I know, but I had a 1.6 ecoboost (182) C-Max for about 6 months/5,000miles. During that time it averaged 38 mpg (measured by the brim to brim method), the trip computer was, as usual, 2-3 mpg over optimistic.

I suspect that the 1.0 has to work pretty hard in the Grand, so wouldn't expect great mpg.

I was optimistic myself when buying the car as to how a 7 seater could perform with a 1.0 engine I suspect it's because I don't use it for long journeys as such just leisurely drives around town.

I have a 1ltr EcoBoost C Max.

Around town I get around 30mpg. On a run I get about 45mpg as long as I don’t drive with lots of braking and accelerating.
