Great cars to drive,I’ve owned mine for 9 years.Take a look at the MK1 common problems thread if you haven’t already.Plenty about so if you can, take your time before buying👍

my wife's car was mk1 (pre facelft) which she sought in 2008 and sold in 2015. Lovely car to drive and condition. but we did have to have a welding done on the front sub-frame. It was nowhere near as bad as this one here:

but did need the welding for the MOT. The one in the video of course would need a new subframe, no way that could be repaired. Anyway, bearing in mind our car was in pretty good condition, but the front subframe needed welding it is something I would want to have a good look at if buying another mk1 focus.
