The awfulness of ford dealership technicians

Featured Replies

There isn't a section on ford service book for oil changes. Just the stamps for each service as required. It's what's on the invoice that's important.

The oil filter isn't a ford one in the photo. Doesn't look 5 yrs old as by then,  the edge of the filter is going rusty  . I've had filters rust that much that they leak!

You say there is no way that plug is coming out, that’ll come out easily with the right tools. A good set of stilsons or a spiral socket if space is tight I bet will hang onto it and pull it out.

How many folk would say a bleed screw that’s sheared flush with the surface of a 12 year old caliper is not coming out? The attached pic is of a caliper I saved on Friday night. With the right tools anything is possible. In your case, cheaper and less hassle than a new sump too.
