Swap steelies for alloys

Featured Replies

Hi all

just bought an 05 Focus C-Max LX 1.8 petrol today to replace my 57 Mondeo 2.0 tdci. Can I replace the 15” steel wheels (tyre size 195/65/R15) with the 16” alloys (tyre size 215/55/R16) off the Mondeo ? Cheers for any advice.

Check radius of tyres,if same check wheel dish.

but thnk mondeo tyres to big.

Youll be fine the rolling circumference will be within in tolarance, width will be ok too, i put my old mondeo winter tyrs on mine and they where 225/17 with no problems you will need alloy wheel nuts they are different to the steel ones
