Quick question, for you experts...

Is it possible to replace the parcel shelf on a Mk3 Focus hatchback with the roller-type load cover, that I believe is fitted to the estate version?

Sorry if I'm a bit vague or lacking details but it's not my car - I'll try to provide more details if necessary.

    No, it's not possible.  The hatch opening is a different shape and there would be no hooks to hold the front of the cover in place.

    The hooks are cut into the plastic side panels in the boot, obviously the panels can't be swapped without serious modification due to the length of the loadspace.

    The estate load cover is flat sided and very rounded at the hatch end, with a small cutout for the rear wiper.  The hatch parcel shelf has 'bent' sides and is much more angular at the hatch end with a large cutout for the rear wiper.  They're completely different shapes I'm afraid.
