Your profile shows 2012 focus. so assuming that is correct, you need a "v" card. The latest is now V8. 2 options , ford dealer at £87 or you can try eBay but beware there are clones that don't work.

Plenty of people on here have posted that they've successfully used the "clone" cards sourced via ebay, there's no real reason for it actually damage the head unit (it's software, it doesn't make any physical changes to the head unit).

It'll either work or it won't, if it doesn't work it goes back for a refund via ebay/Paypal protection.

i bought one the other day for £40. They are on V9 now.

I know you're talking sd cards but just as an aside don't think V9 is on sync 3 yet. I'm on V8 but stuck with the 0mb update at update page of which car doesn't recognise. I'm hoping next major update it replaces that 0mb one or I'm screwed.

Oh yeah, hadn't noticed there on to v9. Can you link the eBay user you got yours from? I need to get one for my partners fiesta.
