Hi I’m having difficulty getting a set of hid bulbs to fit my 2018 Ford Focus st-line my car mechanic said I need some type of adapter I bought a few on eBay but they didn’t fit    help I’m in Ireland and I think there is a different bulb  configuration For Ireland for some unknown reason

What size bulb are you looking for? I have plenty of experience on HID bulbs for older cars, but am surprised you are seeking one for such a new car as they normally have fairly decent lights fitted as standard. I'd bet there is no difference at all from 'Irish' cars as Ford would be standardised all over Europe (However, a North American car will often have different headlamps). The adapter you speak of, is that the electrical adapter, or a mechanical adapter to get the bulb to fit in the headlamp unit?
