clutch replaced at dealer by upgrade clutch

Featured Replies

Clutch was burned at 36000km

Replaced at dealer (Fully).

New one is making noise at engine idle, clutch pedal released and (obviously) neutral gear.

It seems that upgraded clutch is now equipped by springs instead of steel flat spring system, and resulting in noise producing.

Noise sounds like differential that has damaged satellites.

Does anyone has any experience with this, it is very disturbing sound.

Thank you.

This sounds like what happened with my last mk2, input shaft became very noisy following a few k of having a clutch replacement.

Does it sound not dissimilar to this at all?

What year is your focus? I'm hearing alot of stories like this with weak clutches, which years were effected by this ? I just git a 2016 1.0 ecoboost 6 speed, 31k kms.
