Throttle delay Issues 2010 ford ka 1.2 petrol

Featured Replies

Hi everyone! Ive recently purchased my better half a ford ka 2010 plate 1.2 petrol and ive noticed a few issues im hoping some of you guys could help me in the right direction! First issue is there is a slight delay with the throttle while pulling off. If i was to press the pedal with my hand there is a minimum of an inch of pressure where the car does not respond at all. This is very annoying as my partner keeps revving the engine really high when pulling off and she cannot get used to the delay, this is the first car we have had with a problem like this and it is very frustrating surely it cannot be right? Im going to give it a full service tomorrow oil filters and plugs to see if plugs may help. Also the car has recently had 2 new dampers on the rear as was advised by mot but when going over any kind of uneven road the car gives off a lot of noises from the rear end im wondering if there are bushes that are common to go or whether the car needs new springs on to go with the dampers. Im due to have it in the air tomorrow to inspect my self but seeing if anybody can shine some light before hand on obvious places to look. Thanks in advance for any responses and i hope to hear from some of you soon! Many thanks!
