Hello, is it possible to install the instrument box of a Mondeo mk4 in the focus mk2.5 , the version Titanium that brings the digital frame?
When in the Trend version the Mondeo uses the same cluster as the focus

    This is never going to work!

    The Mondeo MK4/MK4.5 instrument clusters are not even connected to the same speed CANbus network as the Focus MK2/MK2.5 instrument clusters. Next to this the CANbus communication messages are also different.

    The Lower spec Mondeo MK4/MK4.5 versions have an instrument cluster that looks similar to the Focus MK2.5 instument cluster but technically it is completely different and not interchangeable.

     

    The only way to make a Mondeo MK4/MK4.5 instrument cluster work in a Focus MK2/MK2 is by building a CANbus converter That converts the Focus MK2/MK2.5 vehicle CANbus messages to the correct Mondeo MK4/MK4.5 instrument cluster CANbus messages (and vice versa). Both the messages and the speed of the CANbus network needs to be converted. Building the CANbus converter (hardware) is the easiest part. Reverse engineering the CANbus communication on both the Focus MK2/MK2.5 and Mondeo MK4/MK4.5 will probably take Months (or even longer).
