High Level Brake Light Focus Hatchback

Featured Replies

My focus just failed the MOT on the centre brake light not working.

I have discovered that there are several bulbs in there.

My question is how do i remove the light cover so far i have unscrewed the cover and i can pull it away slightly

as i was doing this i noticed the light come on so its not a bulb problem.

the bulb holder just seems to be sitting in there loose

any ideas how i can fix this problem

thanks

It most likely is a bulb with a loose filerment and when you moved the lens it touched together again but the bulb will need replacing.

I beleave that if you open the boot there should be two rubber gromets on the inside near where the lens is sitting, remove them and and gentle lever with a flat bladed screwdriver.
