Main beam on driver side is not working.

Featured Replies

Hello

I really hope you guys can help me.

One light om my focus 2013 is not working.

It's the driver side low beam.

The first i did was to replace the bulb without success.

When i meassure the voltage on the beam plug, it is 8,5v with no bulb installed.

When i install the bulb, voltage drops to 0v.

The main fuse is ok. And i tried to jump the ground lead to chassis. It did not help.

Since there is voltage until I connect load, (the bulb) i suspect there is a bad connection somewhere. Maybe a relay.

But i do not know if or where it is.

Does anyone have any clue what this might be? All help will be very appreciated. I need to approve the car on tuesday.

Olaf
