KA mk2 rough idle

Featured Replies

Hi Everyone

Have a mark 2 ford KA 1.2 petrol RU8 2009 which has rough idle when lights ect turned on. Car drives fine starts first time and no engine light on also no fault codes shown.

Have changed air filter spark plugs ht leads coil pack throttle body purge valve and map sensor but still has the rough idle (runs normal then revs drop the pick up ect).

I have seen advertised idle speed control (round unit 75mm X 50mm with socket at 90 degrees) but can not find it on the engine (i am no mechanic.

Does my car have an ISCV if so where is it and could it be the problem or could there be other issues ?

Regards Andy62
