Anybody know what this part is called?

See attached photo.

It's just before/after the turbo.

For a focus 1.6tdci 110.

Thanks in advance.

.

That particular one is a resonator but you might find it just listed as a boost pipe or turbo pipe on eBay.

It’s not fixed on properly at the left hand side is it?

Hi Nathan

It's the air intake just search using the phrase "Intake manifold air hose for Focus Mk2 or Focus C Max 1.6 TDCi or Ford Part Ford Part 146515.

Should be around £25-£35 or try your local breakers yard if your on a tight budget and you know how to remove & replace.

Garage labour time 30-40mins tops.

Are you definitely sure it's this that is the fault, I know the photo you supplied it looks a little worse for wear, but how is the car performing?

Regards

Brilliant, just ordered one from eBay.

Definitely the fault, has a big hole in the back that it's leaking air from.

Car was lacking boost also.

I hope the new one fairs a little better.

Much appreciated all of you.

Just for anyone who is looking at this thread in future, the £25 part from ebay (Ford Part 146515) has sorted it nicely, driving better than ever and have my turbo back 😄
