Hi guys, my name is Davey, i'm new here, i just joined a couple of days ago and i'm glad i did.

What is the bolt called pictured? To me it is a pinch bolt, i need one for a Ford Focus C-Max 2005 1.6 Petrol.

Today when i went out to change the suspension on my car i noticed the the pinch bolt head was rounded off!

This obviously p***ed me off as today was the only day i would get chance until next week. Anyway, i have the means to remove the bolt but

obviously i need a new one to replace it. My problem is that i cannot for the life of me find a replacement.

Because i don't know what the "official" name is or the part number i cannot guarantee that what i am looking at is what i want.

Aren't the strut to hub pinch bolts supposed to have a bland part right at the end?

 

Any help would be GREATLY appreciated!!! I need to order some asap so i have them for next week.

Also i know the picture is not of a c-max but it was clear enough to show exactly what i am after.

While we are on a roll, i don't suppose you know which bolt is number 26 on the diagram?

For mounting the suspension to the strut tower? 😁😁

1473151 is m8×32mm bolt , also there is 1345740 m8×32mm bolt. 

Brilliant. Now i just need to find some nuts to fit the top of the suspension rod to fix the mount on and I'm good to go.

 

For some reason my new shock absorber struts didn't come with them 🤔
