Ford KA mk2 2013 22k front end noise

Hi new to this Forum 

wife’s car got the old noise on the front end only when going over bumps say cobbled rd knocking , changed the drop links as most forums say it’s that , No difference, any Idea s  , has pro check everything with s bar he can’t find owt , all look ok only thing to report front top where suspension top legs are was full of water now sorted , top nuts look rusty but given every thing a good coating of WD , sound to be under passenger foot well ish
