Hi I have a 2015 mondeo 2 litre diesel automatic that comes up with a  spanner when accelerating I have had a garage put it on the diagnostic machine it shows low fuel pressure. Does anyone have any experience of this fault or do they know a likely cause it has had a fuel regulator which made no difference. Thank you for any help

Has the fuel filter been replaced recently?

on my previous fiesta 1.6tdci it had a fault code for low fuel pressure and the cure was replacing the fuel filter.

Fuel system fully checked and serviced car runs perfectly with shell Fuel but doesn't like any other Fuel

Either only use Shell fuel 😉 (standard or premium?) or tell me (us) what difference other fuels make and give us some clues (like proper Forscan fault codes to go with the spanner? Codes need to be read when spanner is showing otherwise they may clear)

And, pray tell, what is a "fuel regulator", and on what justification was it fitted and, and what do the demanded and actual fuel rail pressures look like at idle and 3000 Rev/min?

I am not bothered about the fuel issue now it is the parking sensor display. I only responded about the fuel because the other person asked about it.

I don't know what code it was because it is about 6 years ago.

I just use regular shell diesel and the car has been no problem for the last 6 years or however long sorry for the confusion

Nothing here about parking sensor so sorry but no reason for this post which has effectively wasted people's time.
